Your consult(s) may be covered by your insurance. You may be able to get pre-approved for visits with us if you have Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, MultiPlan, PNOA, United, or VA Community Care plans through a biller. These visits can be used prenatally and after delivery, including breast pump session and even weaning consults.
We also offer an out-of-pocket option. The Affordable Care Act (ACA) dictates that breastfeeding supplies and support services be provided to patients without cost-sharing. We recommend that you contact your insurance company to determine coverage before your appointment.
All appointment fees are collected at the time of service. We will provide you with a receipt (Superbill) that can be submitted to your insurance company, and they will reimburse you directly. Depending on your insurance company and your individual plan, the amount of the reimbursement can vary..
